This is a microporous insulation board with very superior insulation characteristics. Big advantage is the roughly three times higher isolation capability compared to more “conventional” insulators such as Promasil 1000L. Disadvantage is it’s relative high price and it’s fragile structure. Therefore this board should only be applied in very small spaces where nevertheless a very high insulation value has to be achieved. Working with this board demands a high level of professionalism.
